STYLE OF DRIVING: Controlled aggression and fast
WHY DRIFTING?
It just looked exciting, a lot of fun to do and a real test of one's car control.
FAVOURITE THING ABOUT DRIFTING:
Sliding the car from corner to corner at full throttle with as much lock as possible. Basically, just doing the stuff that normally makes you slow in a circuit car. Going sideways with lots of wheelspin. It's the total opposite of what I did in a circuit car, but it's cool to be able to do that. It's just really exciting.
WHAT DO YOU BRING TO DRIFTING?
A different personality, and I'd like to say a little bit of professionalism sometimes. Just a love for the sport.
TYPES OF CARS RACED:
Bulk! It's more of what I haven't driven is probably easier to answer. Actually, I'm yet to race a truck or van!
FAVOURITE CAR TO DRIVE OF THEM ALL?
They all hold their own good things about them. The grip and aero factor of a Formula 3 car is great. The sheer aggression and throttle response of a midget car is second to none, the flying through the air and sideways of off-road and rally is quality. It's hard to pinpoint it to a single discipline, as they've all got their own merits.
